Other News

Microsoft has come on board as a sponsor and has committed considerable marketing and public relations resources to Only In America. Microsoft will also help upload and promote the Weekly Webisodes.

Lynnhaven Marine, the Whaler dealer in Norfolk, is planning three days of events, including a flotilla of both private and military Whalers that will escort us out of the harbor as we depart.

The Parade of Boats through Boston Harbor on the 4th of July is really taking shape. Our flotilla will help escort the USS Constitution into the harbor where she will give her 21 Gun Salute to commemorate Independence Day!

The charity we are supporting, The Jimmy Miller Foundation, contacted the Commander of the Wounded Warrior Batallion and the the Commander is very excited about Only In America. Our hope is we can get soldiers from the Wounded Warrior Battalion on Military Whalers to be a part of the flotilla as we leave Norfolk.

The Commander also said he would assist in getting veterans / active soldiers on each boat for our Parade of Boats through Boston Harbor on the 4th of July.

A professional producer / videographer will be joining us for the entire voyage. He will film the adventure for a documentary or 10 episode television series (the network on which the story will air is not known at this time). He and his crew will also be producing the Weekly Webisodes and Daily Updates.
